Mary Christine Galang – The Rest Is Noise | AXEAN Festival | JADED
MC Galang has over 10 years of experience in the music industry and deep roots in independent music communities and developing musical artist exchange opportunities in the Philippines, Asia, the US, Mexico, and Europe, with a background in music media, curation and creative direction, live music production and promotion, music export, and music marketing.
She is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of live music promoter, curator, and media publication The Rest Is Noise PH (TRIN) based in the Philippines; Head of Editorial at Jaded, In 2023, she was named Head of Editorial at Jaded, a Los Angeles-based multi-platform music company that develops, manages, and promotes emerging Asian artists, where she was in charge of curating and programming SXSW’s first and largest Pan-Asian showcase, FRIENDS:FOREVER 2024 and Tiger Den in 2023; and Co-Founder and Head of Communications of AXEAN Festival, Southeast Asia’s first intraregional music showcase festival. She is also handling day-to-day management for Korean-Australian alternative hip-hop group, 1300.
She was previously the Content and Editorial Head of HipHopDX Asia under Warner Music Asia from 2021 to 2023, where she helped oversee and manage the first-ever Pan-Asian rap cypher series, ‘The Regionals,’ which brought top hip-hop artists from the Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam together with Grammy Award-winning producers and hitmakers !llmind, 9th Wonder, and Hit-Boy.
Sarah Sleeth – Twin Fang Records
Sarah Sleeth is the founder of Twin Fang Records. Twin Fang offers years of experience, attention to detail and a boundless respect for music and its makers. Female and queer-owned and operated, Twin Fang is a place built for women, queer, non-binary, trans folk and allies, with a mission to create more representation in the industry. Most of all, Twin Fang is a place built for community, a place where fandom lives and thrives, and a place for sharing newest faves with oldest buds.
After nearly a decade in marketing and operations at Six Shooter Records (Tanya Tagaq, July Talk, Whitehorse), Sarah launched Twin Fang. She brings with her years of hands-on experience releasing award-winning records and building artist-first marketing strategies that span across multiple genres.
In addition to running Twin Fang, Sarah offers boutique label and distribution services to artists looking for personalized support and deep industry insight with a commitment to making sure great music reaches the ears it deserves.
Jacopo Beta – Hangar
After 12 years of work in other agencies, and after having founded and co-directed The Italian New Wave project together with Club To Club festival, Jacopo founded his own boutique agency H A N G A R in 2017. The agency has a focus on underground electronic music and specializes in exporting Italian talents in Europe and beyond.
He was also appointed art director of Linecheck from 2018 to 2021.
Sean Rhorer – Distance Management
As founder and lead Artist Manager at Distance Management, Sean Patrick Rhorer draws upon over 25 years of music industry experience in service of his clients. With accomplishments in many areas of music beyond management, including distribution, publicity, marketing, label operations, retail, and design, Sean holds a unique and well-rounded understanding of the current landscape, readily utilizing this know-how to best advise the artists with whom he works. He prioritizes a focus on partnering with incredibly talented and hardworking artists that are also good people, holding firm to the belief that these crucial elements are the building blocks of success.
