Adrienne LaBelle is the founder of Wavepool Sync, a sync licensing agency based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples, colonially known as Vancouver. Wavepool is dedicated to championing independent artists and helping them to build sustainable careers by representing their songs for sync licensing opportunities, helping to place their music in films, television, and advertising.

Adrienne first got involved in the sync world via Mint Records, where they co-managed the label as well as the sync licensing department. Adrienne has helped to secure sync placements for artists in popular shows such as Yellowjackets and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, as well as indie films Door Mouse and Infinity Pool, to name a few. Adrienne continues to expand their role in the sync world as a music supervisor, having recently wrapped their work on a feature-length film, Any Other World.

Adrienne is also at the festival representing their management client, Alexandria Maillot. The Western Canadian Awards nominee is a Vancouver-based artist, songwriter, and producer, who blends indietronica and dream pop with a nuanced vocal style reminiscent of a blend between Angel Olsen and Lana Del Rey. Their latest single “Cherry Pit” was recently released via Ram On Records, with new music rolling out into 2027.
