Cynthia Flores
Director, MUSICMEX / Ascendente Agencia
Comms and Media Studies. Cynthia is founder and director of Ascendente Agencia, a boutique management and international booking agency in Mexico.
In 2025 with Malfi Dorantes and Valeria Ramos, she co-created a the new mexican music market and showcase festival called: MUSICMEX. It is the first of its kind in Mexico City where she programs artists from all around the world and will happen next November.
Previously, she spent 18 years as part of the independent project Indie Rocks! in Mexico. FORMER Indie Rocks! Magazine and Hipnosis Festival director. Co-creator and artist programmer of the psychedelic Festival Hipnosis, Semana Indie Rocks! Festival and the concert hall located in Mexico City: Foro Indie Rocks!.
Her primary mission is to create initiatives that preserve, promote and support the alternative and emerging global music scene in Mexico and Latin America.
