Allies and Actions

Allies & Actions is not your average panel presentation. In this interactive session, we use the world café format because we want to hear about your experiences and build solutions together. In addition to introductions from trailblazing artist Kinnie Starr, you’ll hear from speakers selected by OutStanding Music’s collaborators: Women in Music Canada, Indigenous Music Office, International Indigenous Music Summit, as well as other participating organizations. Then you will be invited to share how we can bring more allies into the conversation and take action to create systemic change in the music industry. Bring your expertise, your vision, and your needs to our roundtable discussions, and enjoy productive and generative conversations with like-minded industry folks at this innovative “all hands on deck” session.
