A French-Canadian artist from the Western Canada, Élodie Orsei is a juicy pop-soul artist, with influences from Charlotte Cardin and Kali Uchis. Her lyrics explore love and the eternal quest to find oneself.
Following a Contact Ouest showcase in the fall, Elodie is bringing her magnetic live show on a tour of British Columbia this summer, in advance of her new EP, to be released fall of 2026.
In her lyrics, Élodie weaves together French and English, sharing her Francophone culture from Western Canada. “With two languages, there’s twice as much life to share—it’s a party!” she says.
Her latest EP; Fleurish, released in 2024, explores lineage, self-discovery, and womanhood. A cross between the French word “Fleur” (flower) and the English word “Flourish,” this EP reflects her dual Francophone and Anglophone identity. The title track, “Fleur,”dedicated to her mother and grandmother, draws on Afro-soul to create a smooth and groovy atmosphere.
Most recently a semi-finalist at the Granby International Song Festival (2025), Elodie has also been nominated for a Trille Or award (2023). A regular at Sofar Sounds Kelowna and Coup de Coueur Francophone, you can also catch Elodie on Quebec television show Belle et Bum.
