Victoria, BC-based Ashley Sperling is a music industry professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning marketing, partnerships, communications, audience development, events, and project leadership. She currently works as a music industry consultant, helping artists and organizations develop marketing strategies, strengthen partnerships, grow audiences, and bring projects to life.
Previously, Ashley held leadership roles with Strut Entertainment, MusiCounts, Universal Music Canada, Cadence Music Group/Fontana North, BlackBerry, and Luminato Festival. She also taught digital marketing at Harris Institute for the Arts for seven years.
Ashley serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Music BC Board of Directors and previously served on the board of the Country Music Association of Ontario. Throughout her career, she has collaborated on projects involving artists, brands, and organizations including Justin Bieber, Jungle, Arkells, LIGHTS, Marianas Trench, Kreesha Turner, City & Colour, Blue Rodeo, Keshia Chanté, Karli June, Spotify, 604 Records, Music Publishers Canada, TD, Aeroplan, the CCMAs and more.
Outside of her professional life, you’ll often find Ashley at live shows, exploring Vancouver Island’s natural beauty, or traveling.
