1x1 Meetings at BreakOut West 2023

BreakOut West's legendary 1x1 Meeting schedule is back! These are a series of schedulable B2B meetings with hand-selected industry professionals at BreakOut West, and they are one of the most popular components of the conference. These meetings are 8 minutes long, with a 2-minute break between each. It's a great opportunity to break the ice, hand out your business card, and make a connection you can follow up on. These meetings take place in the Mt. Boucherie room at the Delta Grand Okanagan Hotel and are available between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM on October 12, 13, and 14. All BreakOut West registrants will have access to book 1x1 meetings, but these book quickly!

How to make meetings at BreakOut West 2023

Step 1: Research the speakers

Have you seen the list of speakers at BreakOut West 2023 yet? There are dozens of industry mentors present, many of which are available for 1x1 meetings. Click here to read their bios and peruse the list!

Step 2: Check availability

We have meetings available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the conference, but each mentor is only available one of each of these days. You can see a sortable list of which mentor is available which day here! Note that these meetings go quick, so once you've come up with a list of targets, we recommend booking quickly. 

Step 3: Book your meetings

When you're ready to book your meetings, you can click through to the scheduler through the email from Cvent. This will take you to your schedule. Click 'create appointment' in the top left-hand corner of the screen, and then choose which day of the conference your desired meeting is available for, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. From there, you can add your meeting as an 'attendee' and their available meeting times will be available under 'time and location.' You will be prompted to include a website or link tree link, as well as a short rationale as to why you want to take that meeting.

If you haven't registered yet, new registrations will get a link to sign up for 1x1 meetings in their confirmation email from Cvent. If you have not received the email to sign up, please send us a note and we'll get that resent to you.

Step 4: Check back!

Though these meetings are limited, sometimes schedules change! Check back to see if any meetings have opened up with your preferred speakers, or if any new ones have been added!
