1. What got you into working in the music industry?
I started a long time ago in CD manufacturing in the Midlands, and then landed a Production Managers job at Mushroom Records in London thanks to my then boss Tim Bevan, and that’s how I got my foot in the door and I haven’t let it go since!
2. What is your relationship with Western Canadian Music?
I’ve been booking western Canadian bands for a long time, you just do it so well out here, I personally love the music you guys make and fortunately have the festivals to put artists I like on, this is made all the better knowing Robyn, Alex and co at BOW that expose to the best you have to offer.
3. What is the most exciting part of working in music in 2019?
The sheer amount of great talent out there, we have some fantastic artists coming through at the moment and watching them take off and seeing how well they do is just great, great musicians making some great music.
