Attend Creative BC info sessions at the Breakout West Conference to learn more about Amplify BC funding programs. 

These sessions are offered for Delegate Pass holders or general public.

October 11 - Career Development Info Session: Learn how to apply for the Career Development program! This program supports artists by funding sound recording, marketing and music videos. RSVP to attend! 

Creative BC – Live Music Info Session

October 12 - Live Music Info Session: Learn how to apply for the Live Music program! This program supports live music presentation and business development for venues, festivals, and live music presenters. RSVP to attend!

Creative BC – BC Industry Brainstorm

October 13 - BC Music Industry Brainstorm: Have an idea on how to improve BC’s music industry? Brainstorm and discuss ideas with your peers and learn if your idea is eligible for funding through the Music Industry Initiatives program. RSVP to attend!

British Columbia’s music professionals and artists have reason to celebrate, with the announcement of $7.5 million in government funding for Amplify BC, the province’s new music fund. 

Amplify BC will support people working in BC’s diverse music industry. The new fund focuses on four program areas: career development for BC artists, support for live music events in BC, support for BC's music companies, and the development of our provincial music industry. 

The new fund was created following consultation by Creative BC with BC’s music industry stakeholders. Amplify BC will be administered by Creative BC from April 2018 through end of March 2019.
