One-on-one Meetings at BreakOut West 2018!

Sign up for one-on-one mentor meetings is now open! 

This meeting series proves to be one of the most popular parts of BreakOut West and does tend to fill up in advance of the event. So we encourage you to check it out now.  

HOW TO SIGN UP

This year, the process is direct through our registration system. Here are simple steps to sign up and ensure you get face time with key industry professionals from across Canada and around the world: 

1.  You should have received and email with the subject line ”Order Confirmation: Breakout West Registration”. Click on the “Manage Schedule” button within that email. If you don’t have this email on hand, begin by signing in to the registration system HERE 

Enter the email address that this One-on-One sign up information came to (This is the email linked to your registration). After entering your email click the red button called "Continue to Order Details" in the lower right corner.  

If you have signed In before you will be taken rather step two.

2. This will take you to a page with your name and information and a link called “EDIT REGISTRATIOn INFO”, (to the right of your name). Click on that.

3. You will be brought to the Event Schedule/Activites.  Scroll down and you will see all of the available One-on-One meetings listed by day and time and alphabetically by mentor. You can click on any name and a pop window with a longer bio and a register button. If you want that time and date then, simply click he red REGISTER button and boom, that meeting is yours. it will be added to your activities in the top right corner of your page and can be printed in your personal schedule. Other times and dates will be listed below the bio.  If another time this mentor is available works better for you, smiply close that pop up box and scroll down to the prefered date and time. Then click on that and hit REGISTER. 

4. Continue slecting meetings till you have the schedule you would like. However please remember the one rule we have: You may only sign up for a maximum of 4 meetings per day.  If you exceed this you will be contacted to make edits. 

SIGN UP HACK!!

We know the list is long, because thanks to the support of partners like FACTOR, the Government of Canada and Creative BC, we have really great delegates some to share their knowledge. So, if you want to save youself scrolling as long, use the filter options at the top of the list to select one day at a time, or to type in the name of each delegate you are interested in. This way you will get a shorter list to work with.  

5. If at anytime you realize that you may not be able to attend a meeting, you have signed up for please log in again and click on the meeting. A “Cancel Registration” option will appear. Click on it and allow someone else to sign up for that time. All meetings that have been taken will be greyed out and a red AT CAPACITY will appear on the right side.
