On behalf of everyone at the Western Canadian Music Alliance, we¹d like to welcome Roland Deschambault to the team, assuming the role of Conference Manager.
Roland¹s expertise will be a great asset for the WCMA and BreakOut West, as he brings experience as a musician, manager, music director and most recently, Professional Development Coordinator at Manitoba Music. While at Manitoba Music, Roland spearheaded new professional development initiatives such as the January Music Meeting, the DIY Series, and seasonal Songwriter Retreats, working with artists and industry in all stages of development. Roland¹s many facets allow him to understand the needs and viewpoints of musicians as well as the inner workings of developing top notch events in entertainment and professional development.
