I joined the board as means of using my voice to advocate for hip hop artists in Western Canada, believing that the only way to impact a system is to be on the inside.
The award is artist based, this year I have had several submissions f previous nominated artists with different songs from the same recording as last year.
They stated there is no wording indicating they can submit 3 new songs from the same album.
Composer of the Year
We don’t allow someone to choose classical artist and instrumental but we haven’t stated for this one.
Can one song be submitted and include two other remixes of the same song?
